Independent Survey Confirms High Satisfaction Among Sandler’s Veteran Franchise Owners

Sandler Franchising, a global leader in sales and leadership development, has been recognized by Franchise Business Review as one of the Top Franchises for Veterans in 2025. This prestigious honor highlights franchise brands that rank highest in franchisee satisfaction among military veterans who have transitioned into business ownership.

Franchise Business Review, an independent market research firm specializing in franchisee satisfaction and performance, analyzed data from more than 2,500 franchise owners across 385 brands. Only 100 companies earned a place on this year’s list.

“Veterans bring discipline, leadership, and resilience to business ownership—qualities that align perfectly with our culture at Sandler,” said David Mattson, Executive Chairman of Sandler. “We’re proud that so many veterans have chosen Sandler as their next mission and that they rate their experience so highly. Their success is a reflection of our shared commitment to training excellence, mentorship, and community.”

A Mission That Resonates with Veterans

For many veterans, Sandler’s mission-driven culture makes it a natural fit for their post-service careers. Sandler franchise owners help individuals and organizations reach their full potential through training, coaching, and leadership development—values that closely align with military service.

Thomas Massie, a U.S. Army veteran and Sandler franchisee in Boston, Massachusetts, shared his perspective:

“I’m not surprised that Sandler rated a top opportunity for vets. Ronald Reagan once said a person can spend a lifetime trying to figure out whether or not they made a difference. A veteran doesn’t have that problem—and at Sandler, we’re all about bringing out the best in people and driving success for them and their organizations. It’s fulfilling, it’s rewarding, and it feels like a true fraternity.”

He added:

“When I joined the Sandler Network, I was blown away by how connected and caring everyone was. People reached out before I even signed on as an owner, wanting to help me succeed. There’s a fraternity and sorority inside the Sandler franchise network that I don’t believe any other franchise system can match.”

A Proven Path for Veterans Transitioning to Business Ownership

Sandler provides comprehensive onboarding, peer mentoring, and business development support to help veterans translate their leadership and communication skills into long-term business success. The company has earned a reputation for its collaborative network and measurable impact on franchise owner growth.

“Veterans exploring franchise ownership have many options to choose from, but it’s not always easy to know which brands truly deliver,” said Eric Stites, founder & CEO of Franchise Business Review. “While many franchises advertise incentives for veterans, what matters most is the experience after the contract is signed. Our independent surveys capture feedback directly from veteran franchise owners, and the brands on this year’s list earned the highest satisfaction ratings from them—making these companies stand out as top choices for veterans ready to transition into business ownership.”
