Jones said he chose to open a franchise in Albany because its business landscape mirrors that of his Ohio markets, particularly with a strong presence in the manufacturing sector, a key client base for Sandler by The Ruby Group.

“It’s a key area for us in Akron and Columbus, just because there are so many. “Now, we do health care, we do insurance, so some people sell a widget that we train, and some people are selling an intangible, a service,” Jones said. “What’s important for us is, what are the barriers to success within those organizations, within their people and within their sales process that we have to go help them fix?”
